As a Shift Manager at Starbucks you will be responsible for one of the two areas: Product or Facility. Product Manager takes care of the highest quality of products, and upholds the standards of their preparation. He/she plans supplies, analyzes sales and earnings. Facility Manager's role is to ensure that the store presents its best. He/she takes care of the observance of cleanliness standards, proper operation of the store equipment, and builds relationships with conservators. He/she also plans fixed costs and analyzes achieved results. All Shift Supervisors provide training on their areas of responsibilities for Partners, and lead shifts, every day taking care of the best atmosphere.

Assistant Store Manager in Starbucks is also called People Manager, because this is the person responsible for our Partners. Your main tasks at this position will be team building, training and motivating, making guest service at the store at the highest level. People Manager strives to hire the best people for the right positions. He/she is recruiting Partners who infect others with smile and transfer to our guests their positive energy. He/she is also responsible for creating work schedules, planning and controlling labor costs, as well as performance analyzing. He also runs a shift and builds a work atmosphere in the store. The key to his/her success is the excellent knowledge of all Partners.
